The questions buyers ask before the first order.
Straight answers to the questions buyers ask before the first order: output, certification, shipping and what is actually inside the set.
What is your minimum order quantity?
One unit. We build to order, so a single set is a perfectly normal order. Freight per unit drops sharply from two sets onwards, because two fit a 40 ft container.
How long is the lead time?
Stock configurations ship in 10 to 15 working days. Built-to-order sets with a named engine or alternator take 25 to 40 days, and we confirm the date in writing before deposit.
What payment terms do you accept?
T/T with 30% deposit and balance against bill of lading is standard. Irrevocable L/C at sight is accepted for orders above USD 100,000.
What does the warranty cover?
Eighteen months from bill of lading or 1,500 running hours, whichever comes first. Failures caused by the set are ours: we air-ship the part and talk your technician through the swap.
Can you build own-brand machines?
Yes. Your badge, your paint, your manuals and your branding on the controller. Custom tooling carries a minimum quantity, which we quote case by case.
Do you supply spare parts after the sale?
Every set ships with a parts list keyed to its serial number. We stock wear parts for ten years and quote a full consumables kit for the first service interval.
Should I buy standby, prime or continuous rating?
If the set only runs when the grid fails, buy standby. If it carries a real load for hours at a time, buy prime. If it is the only source of power on site, buy continuous. The same machine carries three different output figures depending on which rating you buy, and sizing to the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in the project.
Why is the output on my site lower than the nameplate?
Because air gets thinner with altitude and hotter with ambient temperature, and an engine breathes air. As a planning rule, allow about 3.5% per 1,000 m of altitude and about 1% for every 5 C above 40 C. We size to the derated figure for your site rather than to the reference-condition nameplate.
What Incoterms do you quote?
FOB, CFR and CIF are all standard, and we confirm the port in writing. DAP is available for inland destinations where your broker prefers it. The quotation always states the term, the port and what is excluded, so there is no ambiguity when the invoice is issued.
Can we inspect the set before it ships?
Yes. You or your inspector are welcome at the plant, and we can run the load-bank test on video with your engineer watching if travel is not practical. SGS, BV and Intertek inspections are coordinated on request, and the test is not signed off until the set has held rated load for the full soak period.
What is actually inside the set you are buying.
Most of the price difference between two quotations sits in four components and one frame. Knowing which ones are named in the offer, and which are left as "or equivalent", tells you more about the machine than the headline output figure does.
Then six steps from your load list to a set on site.
No stage starts before the previous one is signed off, and you always know what you receive at the end of each one.
